Whoohoo!! Star Wars Houseparty!

My son was SO happy to find out that we were chosen for the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 3 House Party.  My husband my son loves Star Wars so this should be lots of fun. The host kit includes some great stuff:

  •  10 Action Figures for host and guests
    - Galactic Battle Game Mat for host
    - Special tournament bracket poster
  • A DVD containing a behind-the-scenes look at Star Wars: The Clone Wars and a sneak preview of Season 3
  • 10 Star Wars: The Clone Wars tattoo sheets for host and guests
  • 10 special codes from Sony Online Entertainment granting membership access, Station Cash™ to purchase in-game items with and a special in-game R2-D2™ pet in the all-new Star Wars®: Clone Wars Adventures™ virtual world
  • 10 Clone Cash coupons for Hasbro Star Wars action figures
How fun!

If you have never applied to host a House Party, or don't know what in the world a House Party is, here's the scoop--House Party is word of mouth marketing.  Companies, through House Party, select people to have a party centered around their products/foods/shows/toys, etc....  From all those that apply, a certain number of hosts will be chosen and will be sent a party package containing all sorts of free stuff to enjoy and share with your friends/family at a party that you agree to host.

Go to Houseparty.com and click on the events tab to see what parties are available. The list is updated frequently, so keep checking back every few weeks.  If you see something you like, apply to host that party.   It doesn't have to be a big thing--just 10-15 or so people at a get together.  We've combined some Houseparties with birthday parties, dinner parties, and casual cookouts when we are already having a group over, and other get-tegethers have been just for the sake of the Houseparty.  We like to entertain, so it's fun to have an excuse to have friends over and get some free stuff, too. You never have to sell anything--just pass out free stuff, which everyone likes to get!

These are the House Parties we've hosted over the past few years.  The host packages were pretty nice:

Gerber baby food (free baby food, spoons)
Hershey Bliss (lots of free chocolate, notepads, magnets, pens, coupons)
Juicy Juice (lots of juice, reusuable shopping bags, water bottles, playing cards)
DiGiorno Pizza and Breadsticks (apron, free pizza coupons, pizza cutter, rally beads, party games)
Bulls Eye BBQ Sauce (8 bottles of BBQ sauce, grill caddy w/ tools, free coupons)
McDonald's ($75 Arch Card, Happy Meal toys, Collector beverage glasses, CD)

You can sign up for the mailing list, and House Party will email you when new events are accepting host applications. I hope you're chosen!
