Cocoa Banana Smoothie

Mornings are hectic, and my oldest daughter isn't a breakfast eater so I'm always trying to find something healthy and quick to give her.  I know she nor I get enough calcium in our diets, so I tried to make a calcium packed, tasty smoothie for us to share.

This morning we threw together some stuff and created a cocoa-yogurt-banana smoothie that turned out to be really yummy (and jam packed with calcium and vitamins)!  It tasted like a chocolate banana milkshake.

Here's what we used to make two smoothies:

1 6 oz carton of nonfat vanilla yogurt
1 frozen banana (in 1" chunks)
1 cup skim milk
2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 ice cubes

The total number of calories for each smoothie is about 140.  I think this will become a go-to breakfast around here!

Do you have any yummy smoothies or other quick breakfasts to share?  I'm always looking for new ideas!
