The idea for St. Mary's Messenger came about after a novena to St. Therese--the idea was to create a Catholic magazine for Catholic kids in the vein of Highlights for Children. It was first published in 2005 in select markets, then two mini issues were published and sold alongside Catholic Digest. With an enthusiastic response from parents, children and educators, it is now being offered as a stand alone quarterly magazine. Check out some sample pages from the Fall 2009 issue.
The editors and staff at St. Mary's Messenger ask for your prayers and support as they take on the huge (and much-needed) undertaking of creating quality Catholic publications for our children.
