Must See Movie: The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

We've been enjoying a free trial membership to Netflix, which included free streaming to our Wii.  This morning, my husband (who is still home searching for a new job since his layoff) and I watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas while drinking our coffee and watching the rain.

Wow.  This is one of those movies that stays with your for awhile.  The film is rated PG-13, but only for the sheer dramatic elements-there is no blood, swear words or smut, but the drama IS very intense.

Here's the premise:  A German Nazi solider is promoted and moves his family to a new home in Poland.  His 8 year old son secretly discovers the nearby Jewish "Work" camp and befriends a little Jewish boy from across the fence.

The 90 minute film portrays the horror and reality of the war through the eyes of a child.  My advice--keep some tissues nearby!
